The Esplanade is located on Main Street in the community of Hudson which is located in the central region of eastern Massachusetts. The development is a revitalization of downtown. Hudson is bordered by Marlboro to the south, Sudbury to the east, Bolton to the North and Berlin to the west. Occupancy of the Esplanade is restricted to at least one resident being 55 years of age. The site consists of approximately 5 acres of land in an urban setting near the center of the town. The land is within easy walking distance from the town hall, post office, churches, stores and restaurants. The use of this site for high density residential is consistent with the Governor’s plan for reuse of urban sites for residential use. The 140 age restricted, 55+ condominium units are located in the two four (4) story elevated buildings with structured and open parking. The location of the buildings creates an open courtyard with the frontage of building “A” facing Main Street with a number of retail spaces.
